About guinea wigs rescue
I have had guinea pigs since i was a child ,and think they are a most caring and enjoyable animal in the rodent family.. so after many years of having guinea pigs i have started to take in unwanted guinea pigs and find new loving forever homes for them.I will only re-home in pairs or more as guinea pigs are very sociable animals and thrive on company of there own kind,i will re-home single guinea pigs only where there already is another guinea pig that will be housed with the new one.
I WILL NOT REHOME TO BREEDERS and I WILL NOT REHOME TO PEOPLE WHO ARE HAVING A GUINEA PIG ,SOLELY AS A CHILDS PET. as children loose interest very fast and many of these guinea pigs are with me as a result of this.
Before taking any animal on the new owner needs to be prepared to look after the animal after the
novelty as worn off for a child as any animal is for life.......
If you can help in any way IE, donations , fund raising , car boots, jumble sales ,or a donation of old Hutches blankets and towels for sick guinea pigs, would be greatly appreciated.
Anyone unable to keep there guinea pig for what ever reason would need to bring the animal to me after arrangements have been made .After a guinea has been adopted if for any reason they are unable to keep the animal it must be returned back to myself ..
Upon adoption you will be asked to sign a form agreeing not to breed from the guinea pig and to seek veterinary help if necessary and to provide all the care the guinea pig needs to stay healthy .
I will never knowingly re-home an animal that is unwell and i will keep the animal for a minimum of 2 wks before i adopt out.
All donations are non refundable.....
